This week, I had a mini spotlight feature written about me. I find it weird when I have to write about myself. Stranger still when others write about me. A highlight of partnership with an agency outside of my usual work.

This week, I’ve had approximately four Redbulls and two Korean corndogs in less than a 72 hour period. One savagely overdue deadline, a whole lot of pre-production paperwork and contracts, a dog with severely inflamed allergies and open sores on his belly, a return of my old friend insomnia, and a kickstart of electrical issues - cause: backward wiring.

This week, I gained more money than I lost.

This week, I realized that my shoulders hold pressure with a larger capacity and higher tolerance than last year or the year before that or the year before that. It’s amazing what creating real space for reflection and intentional, ruthless healing will do.

This week, I did not freak out or meltdown. I’m proud of that. I’ve been working hard on rewiring my nervous system.

This week, reminded me of the ever present reality of balance and that life is not level, but I can be if I choose to.

This week, the feature used this picture, or well, a black and white version… and what a nice way to end the month, it feels.
