All That I Could

So rip my heart out of my chest and place it in yours.

Let the severed ventricles and valves pulsate “half-heartedly” through your chest plate

So you can feel the broken beating attempting to live without you.

Can you fathom the pain that pours through my veins as a broken heart beats again and again?

Now dissect between the parietal and frontal lobe and take in my perception and emotions that run deep within caverns.

Study the thought patterns and tell me what is it you see that keeps leading me down the path of destination: Misery.

Maneuver past the cornea and bypass the iris; bring it down to the optic nerve.

Can you see what I see? Then you would see what I don’t deserve.

Then curve your way down and around my senses to fully translate my hurt.

When your pain threshold reaches a 10 and your conscious nature is no longer alert,

Please let me know, so that I can let YOU go, because I’ll know you’ve felt all that I could.
