Great Planes

What great planes stretch beyond our comprehension.

An other-worldly extension that whispers to us in our dreams.

Wiped away in the morning, with the sleep from our eyes.

Dispersed with the sunrise, did we ever really visit?

A home that we cannot recognize anymore,

But it lies in wait for when we return.

Not one space of gathering, but a vast collection of levels to land upon.

Which begs the question, what plane must you be wandering on?

I've begged to cross paths with you... A cold chill, a knowing sign, a reach for me while I'm asleep.

They say I'm so much like you, and I keep wondering when we'll meet.

From my temper to my mindset to the way we both have an affinity for playing devil's advocate.

Can you see me? Are you amused? Maybe even a bit proud?

I hope regardless of where you are, your energy is gravitating wildly about.

I don't know what lies beyond, what waits on the other side of time...

But I hope when I land, you will recognize my shine.
